Deed of a negro slave Cuffee" sold by J. John Orcutt of Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts to Arthur Harris, also of Bridgewater, for seventy pounds. Dated November 27, 1741. Witnessed by James Snow and Peter Reed. Cuffee alternately spelled "Cuffy" and Orcutt spelled "Orcut" within document. Handwritten on both sides. 7.5" x 7.5". Encased in a sticky plastic sleeve."
