Description

MAJOLICA CENTERPIECE IN THE FORM OF A NAUTILUS SHELL 19th Century
Shell in dark blue with a turquoise interior. A nude woman with long light brown hair is perched on one end. One side of shell decorated with a second nude woman, putti, and seagrasses. Shell raised on two nude mythological figures in dark yellow. Height 13."
