ENGLISH LUSTRE, ENAMEL, AND TRANSFER-DECORATED POTTERY TEA SERVICE 19th Century
Teapot, height 7.75, covered sugar bowl, waste bowl, spoon rest, and six cups & saucers. All with puce reserves depicting birds and fruit om a ground with wide lustre-accented cobalt blue register and polychrome flower sprays. Unmarked."

Condition

All with age-typical wear. Most with fine crazing. Teapot: Three interior rim chips (two very small, largest .75). 0.25" footrim chip. Hairline crack to handle. Sugar: Base with hairline crack around edge. Reglued break to finial on cover. Waste bowl: Several scattered hairline cracks. Teacups: Most with staining/discoloration under crazing. Two with hairline cracks. One with small footrim chip. Saucers: Most with staining/discoloration under crazing. One with several hairline cracks."
