PAUL JACOULET Watercolor Study
Felicia, an old woman from Saipan." (The mother of Rogopes as described below illustration #33 on page 26 of Paul Jacoulet's Vision of Micronesia, published by ISLA Center for the Arts at the University of Guam). Although the description below the illustration states "Died in 1932", this watercolor study is signed and dated, 1942, in pencil above the Mandarin Duck seal. Overall size, 20" x 15.25" (51 cm x 39 cm)."
