PAIR OF GEORGE III STERLING SILVER SALT CELLARS Edinburgh, 1769-70
James Welsh, maker. In circular form with scalloped rim and three hoof feet. Cobalt blue glass liners. Diameters 2.75.
Approx. 6.4 troy oz."

Condition

Both with scattered pin prick-size dents and age-typical wear. One with metal fatigue to rim. Most feet with metal fatigue. Liners probably not original. Circular abrasions to interiors from rubbing against glass.
