Description

FIVE PIECES OF SPODE HAND-PAINTED ARMORIAL PORCELAIN TABLEWARE England, 1805-15
Each decorated in the Imari palette with large white flowers, gilt scrolling foliage, and cobalt blue plumes against an iron-red ground. Inset with medallions depicting a standing gazelle. Covered sauce tureen and undertray, two oval serving dishes, lengths 10.5, and a plate, diameter 8.5". All but undertray marked with pattern number "1104" in red or gilt on underside. Lacking factory marks.

Condition

All pieces with age-typical usage wear and loss/rubbing to gilt and enamel. Tureen cover with short hairline crack extending inward from slot for spoon. Tureen with repaired break to one handle. Tureen undertray with possible restoration to underside. Plate with scattered short knife marks.
