Description

BANJO CLOCK American, First Quarter of the 19th Century
Maker unknown. Mahogany case with later brass eagle-form finial and original brass sidearms. Painted metal dial with Arabic numerals. Reverse-painted throat and lower door glass. Throat glass with Patent" surrounded by floral and fruit decoration. Door glass depicts Mount Vernon. Height 33.25"."

Condition

Not guaranteed to be working. Some minor flaking to door glass, which also has numerous cracks. Pendulum is present. Weight has possibly fallen through the bottom. Old finish, but probably not original. Works are questionable/may not be original.
