Cape Cod, 1861-1951

Repairing the windmill. Signed lower right C.D. Cahoon". The work is an exceptional example of Cahoon's genre painting depicting a charming workshop scene of a young boy watching an older gentleman, possibly Mr. Moody of Harwich, repair his broken windmill toy.

Condition

Very small area of inpaint touch up to the right of table at the frame's edge. Otherwise good condition. Frame period to piece, not certain if orginal.
