SCRIMSHAW PANBONE PLAQUE First Half of the 19th Century
Diamond and arch borders surround three vignettes. Large upper vignette depicts an American warship at port. Two lower vignettes depict ships flying American flags. Panbone 7.5 x 7.75". Mounted in a contemporary frame 11.25" x 11.5".

Very slight curvature to panbone, probably naturally occurring. Age crack extends from top two-thirds of the way down plaque.
