Description

FRAMED ROYAL ARCH MASON'S APRON Mid-19th Century
In burgundy velvet with gold-colored fringe, trim and appliqué. Flap depicts a triangle within a sun. Body depicts a central arch suspending fabric swags and surrounding an altar topped with a potted plant. Various emblems including a Bible, chevrons and urns surround arch. Frame 34 x 28.75"."

Condition

Not examined out of frame. Slight discoloration, but no significant wear or damage noted. Mounted in shadow box-style frame with small pins, so apron or apron strings possibly with small pinholes. Loose from mounting.
