Description

ANTIQUE QUEEN ANNE ARMCHAIR First Half of the 18th Century
Possibly French Canadian. In hardwood. Back with shaped crest and pierced backsplat. Carved and shaped arms and arm supports. Original slip seat frame with later crewelwork upholstery. Cabriole front legs joined with block and turned stretcher end in pad feet. Back height 43.5. Seat height 17"."

Condition

The chair similar to other French Canadian examples seen on line, witha small old imperfection at the center of the apron, but overall good condition with no obvious mars or damages noted other than light surface wear.
