Description

BRU BEBE FRENCH BISQUE-HEAD DOLL Circa 1880s
CONDITION UPDATE: FINE HAIRLINE CRACK TO HEAD AS WELL AS CRACK TO FOOT (see photos).With blonde wig, fixed blue paperweight eyes, pierced ears and open/close mouth. Socket head with swivel neck. Bisque forearms and hands. Dressed in a lace and velvet dress and leather shoes. Includes a small wood and leather doll trunk containing a green dress and two hats. Back of doll's neck marked Bru 8". Height 20". Trunk height 5.5". Width 10". Depth 6.5"."

Condition

There is a small grey hairline fracture underneath the left eye. Right hand missing pinky finger. Left hand missing index and pinky finger. Needs to be cleaned. Crack to foot.
Bru Jne 8 is marked on the back of the head.
The number 4, in ink, is on the sole of both shoes
