Description

POLYCHROME SCRIMSHAW WHALE'S TOOTH First Half of the 19th Century
Obverse depicts an Anglo-American naval battle scene. Reverse depicts a whaling scene with whaleship, three whaleboats in the water and three whales, one of which is waifed. Wonderful patina. Length 6.

Condition

Minor fretting and small chips at interior of base. Several small age cracks at base.
