Cape Cod, 1910-1982

Sailor's Wedding, depicting a cupid pointing his bow and arrow at a sailor and his mermaid bride. A flower mermaid is to the couple’s left and a sea chest trunk marked “G.H.” and “C.M.” is to their right. Wooden railing behind the couple marked “Sept. 9 1961” next to a heard inscribed “C.M. G.H.” Signed lower right “R. Cahoon”.
Oil on masonite, 14 x 17". Framed 16" x 19"."

Condition

No obvious damages noted. A very slight amount of surface grime, could benefit from a light cleaning.
