Fully titled Observations on Certain Documents Contained in No. V & VI of 'The History of the United States for the Year 1796,' in Which the Charge of Speculation Against Alexander Hamilton, Late Secretary of the Treasury, Is Fully Refuted. Written by Himself". (Philadelphia: Printed Pro Bono Publico, 1800.) Notes indicate this edition was printed at the Aurora office by political enemies of Hamilton. In this famed pamphlet Hamilton confesses to his affair with Maria Reynolds and admits to being blackmailed by Maria and her husband. 8.75" x 5.5"."
