HEPPLEWHITE SERPENTINE-FRONT CHEST-OF-DRAWERS Vermont, Circa 1790
In cherry with nice old patina. Four graduated drawers with alternating light and dark wood string inlay. Suitable period hardware. Front with beautifully shaped skirt. Sides with Cupid's bow cut molding at bottom. French splayed feet. Top drawer with chalk writing Made in Montpelier 1804 Walton ....ly" (possibly Walton Family). Height 38". Width 45.5". Depth 24"."

Condition

No visible damages. Hardware is not of the period and has been replaced.
