A Sermon Preached before His Excellency the Governour, the Honourable Council, and Assembly of the Province of the Massachusetts-Bay, in New-England, May 31. 1710. The day for the election of Her Majesties Council there. By Ebenezer Pemberton, Pastor of a Church in Boston, and Fellow of Harvard College in Camb." (Boston: Printed by B. Green, sold by Samuel Gerrish, 1710). 16mo. Appears to be original calf binding. Binding tight, but with losses at corners and at spine. Title page missing. Signature of Elizabeth Cookson on front endpaper. Deaccession receipt dated 1903 from the Essex Institute tipped onto front endpaper. Embossed stamp of the Institute on first page of text. Pages foxed and toned."
