1) Henry Clay letter dated September 1840 and addressed to Stephen White Esq. Discusses the 1840 presidential election and Clay's confidence that the South will vote in favor of Harrison and the Whigs. 2-3) Letter signed by Cave Johnson and an annotated copy of Luke Lea, to the Voters of the Congressional District Composed of the Counties of Sevier, Blount, Monroe, Knox & Anderson". (Washington, D.C.: Printed at the Office of the Sun, 1835.)"
