FOUR 19TH CENTURY MASSACHUSETTS BROADSIDES PERTAINING TO NEW LAWS AND ACTS 1802-1828
1) A Law Respecting the Mending and Repairing the Highways". Dated April 21, 1802. Enacted at a town meeting in Scituate. Printed by William W. Dunham. 11.5" x 9.75". 2) "Commonwealth of Massachusetts. An Act In addition to the act for Regulating, Governing and Training the Militia of the Commonwealth." Dated June 20, 1816. Signed in print by members of the legislature. 12.5" x 8.5". 3) "An Act to Divide the Commonwealth into Districts, For the Choice of Representatives in the Congress of the United States, and prescribing the Mode of Election." Dated June 15, 1822. Signed in ink lower margin "Copy A Bradford Secy". Sets forth Congressional districts and other stipulations for elections. 20.5" x 12.75". 4) "Commonwealth of Massachusetts. An Act directing the mode of choosing Electors of President and Vice President of the United States" with footnote "Resolve prescribing the form of Return of Electoral Votes." Dated June 10 and 11, 1828. Seal of the Commonwealth above text. 15.75" x 9.75"."

Condition

1) Toned. Creased with some tears along fold lines. Two areas of tape residue upper margin. 2) Toned. Chipping along edges. Creased. 3) Scattered foxing. Creased. Sheet curled at corners and top margin. Ink inscriptions. Some small areas of loss. 4) Creased, otherwise well preserved.
