RARE CASED QUADRANT Early 19th Century
Descended in the family of Captain Richard W. Card, born in Summerville, Nova Scotia in 1810; family history on three paper notations affixed to the interior lid of the case. Quadrant with ebony frame, ivory degree scale and beautifully engraved brass index arm. Mahogany wedge-shaped case. Height 3.75. Length 19". Width 16.5"."
