SCRIMSHAW WHALE'S TOOTH Mid-19th Century
Depicts two doves holding an olive branch at tip and a potted plant near base. At center, wrapping nearly around the circumference of the tooth, is a spread-wing American eagle clutching branches and arrows in its talons. Geometric bands separate each image. Length 5.5."
