SCRIMSHAW JAGGING WHEEL WITH RETICULATED WHALE IVORY HANDLE Mid-19th Century
Handle with three baleen spacers. Fluted openwork wheel pinned to a bird-form support, whose legs are positioned to form a heart. Replacement crimping fork. Length 6.75.

Fork is a replacement, as noted. One baleen spaccer spins. Handle with age least one age line. Wheel with some small chips missing.
