Dated April 19, 1852, March 23, 1853 and April 4, 1853. Includes tables, charts, illustrations and folding maps covering the construction of a lighthouse on the dangerous shoals off Nantucket and its benefit to shipping and commerce, particularly the flourishing whaling industry.
