Titled Jones Invested with the Order of Military Merit". Depicts an elaborate interior with men seated around a dining table laden with food and drink, probably a celebratory banquet after Navy commander John Paul Jones was awarded the Order of Military Merit by the King of France in 1787. Heavily inked and vibrantly colored. Length 7.75". * Per Federal Regulation, this item may only be purchased by a Massachusetts resident and will not be shipped out of state.
