FOUR CASE LACQUER INRO 18th Century
With gunfu, aogai and gold takamaki design of a bowman on horseback hunting geese. All on a ro-iro ground. Height 2.75."

Condition

Minor wear. No other damages/repairs detected.

Gunfu refers to the pewter colored lacquer, mainly seen on body of horse.
Tip of arrow believed to be horn inlay.

Provenance: Came from a New York dealer of fine Asian and European art.
