Rectangular, with pierced gallery on three sides and four pad feet. Includes two silver-mounted crystal inkwells. Pen tray engraved William M. Davis with Affectionate Regards of his Colleagues in the Geological Department June 1912". Length 9.5".
Approx. 13.4 troy oz. weighable.
William Morris Davis was the "father of American geography" and taught at Harvard from 1879-1911."


Gallery lacking two nuts to bolts, so that it is loose. Central well lacking interior element and dented. Two left feet dented. Inkwells nicked.
