WHALEMAN-MADE DIPPER 19th Century
Coconut shell bowl with applied whalebone lip and parallel band. Elegantly scrolled handle with decorative carving at end. Stepped shield-shape mount with carved stem, possibly the shape of a tulip. Length 9.5. Includes metal stand.
