PAINTED LIFT-TOP TOOL CHEST 19th Century In pine with dovetailed construction. 20th century decoration depicting a mermaid and reading "Thousands of fishies may swim through the sea but 'tis only the mermaid who calls to me". Top decorated with a mermaid, Base with a row of fish near bottom. Signed and dated on back "Tom Herron, 1987". Height 21". Depth 25". Width 37".

Condition

Wear and some paint loss but in exceptional overall shape.
