GOLD LACQUER BUTSUDAN Early 19th Century
In unusual cylinder form with domed cover and onion finial. Four engraved brass-mounted doors open to reveal a standing figure of Kwannon. Doors painted with lotus blossoms. Height 4."

Considerable chipping to lacquer. Left hand of figure missing.
