(PHOTOGRAPHY - WELLFLEET) Seven unframed photographs of Wellfleet scenes and subjects, including the Cultivator (an oyster dragger) and the Chequessett Inn. Mounted on board. Photographs in overall good condition, but some backboards torn.
Provenance: Descended in the family of Captain Lorenzo Dow Baker of Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Capt. Baker was the first American to import bananas and other fruit from the Caribbean, forming the foundation on which United Fruit was built.
