SURVEYOR'S REPORT performed in 1772 by Thomas Palmer for Derek Sefferts of New York City. Laying out and dividing eight lots of land in the patent of Kayaderosseras bound on one side by the Balston town line and with frontage on the Hudson. Folio. Front page with signature, index and date. Eight maps included in 30 pages plus cover sheet. Note: This area became very important in the 19th Century as the sight of several large paper mills. Palmer (1731-1837) was apparently a major land holder in the general area described above and was probably also a New York State senator.

All pages loose. Cover chipped. Good overall condtion.
