CHINOISERIE-DECORATED DRESSING MIRROR Late 18th/Early 19th Century
Retains original black and gold lacquer surface. Oval mirror supported by shaped arms. Case with serpentine front and two drawers with fitted interiors. Height 29. Width 20". Depth 12".
Provenance: Thomas Poynton (1769-1835) House in Providence, Rhode Island.

Condition

Possibly missing some of the original interior drawer fittings. All surfaces show wrinkling. Mirror shows some loss to lacquer.
