L'ETOILE DE COBI. MONGOLE. Star of the Gobi. Mongolia. Signed in pencil lower left above the Owl seal. Seals of the carver, Kentaro Maeda, and printer, Tetsunosuke Honda, lower right margin. Published: 28 January 1951. Numbered 338/350 on the reverse. Also inscribed in pen "To Maria who like Ceasar (sic) she came, we loved and she conquered. The Farishs." Front margins soiled and some toning to reverse. Image condition very good/excellent. Dedicated to French President, Vincent Auriol.
