Description

UNUSUAL WOODEN CANE Made from a piece of the floor of Libby Prison. Signed with the printed signature of the manager. Silver plated head. Libby Prison was a Confederate prison for captured Union officers in Richmond, VA. Previously a tobacco warehouse, conditions were extremely bad. Except for Andersonville Prison in Georgia, Libby Prison was the most notorious in the Confederacy.
