CHINESE SILK NEEDLEWORK ROBE
Forbidden stitch and embroidered peonies, censers and vases on a deep blue ground. Wave design at hem with repeating forbidden stitch peonies. Hidden sleeve bands with forbidden stitch and embroidered flowers and vessels and gilt threadwork accents. Four round gold metal buttons with frog closures.
Length 43". Width under arms 27".
Condition: Some loose stitching at seams and staining to the interior, but mostly good condition.
