    Notes:
During her 80-year whaling career, the Charles W. Morgan embarked on 37 voyages, roaming the globe in pursuit of whales. Often referred to simply as "The Morgan", she was launched in 1841 in New Bedford, her home port. She typically sailed with a crew of about 35, and her voyages lasted anywhere from nine months to five years. Her career tally totaled 54,483 barrels of sperm and whale oil.

After her whaling days ended in 1921, she was preserved by Whaling Enshrined, Inc. and exhibited in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, until 1941. She then moved to Mystic Seaport Museum, where she remains at dock as a museum ship. She is the last wooden whaleship in the world to exist and is a designated National Landmark.
