CASED PRESENTATION HALF HULL MODEL OF THE SCHOONER YACHT "AMERICA"

Attributed to George L. Watson (Scotland, 1851-1904). In ¼":1' scale. Black-painted topsides and copper-painted bottom. Carved trail board, stump mast and bowsprit. Bakelite name plaque engraved "Schooner Yacht 'America' Scale 1/4 = 1 foot to W.G.J. From G.L.W.". Two labels affixed to the back, one with the history of the model and its construction, and the other a framer's label.
Case height 11.125". Length 31".
