CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN SERVING DISH WITH ARMORIAL CREST OF THE BRITISH EAST INDIA COMPANY

Square, with rounded corners. Red, blue, white, purple and black enamel and gilt crest with lions holding flags flanking a crowned shield divided into four fields and a "Auspicio. Regis. Et. Senatus. Angliae" (By Command of the King and Parliament of England) banner. Gilt rim, exterior orange-red border studded with black dots, and interior gilt fleur-de-lis border. Believed to be from the last set produced for the British East India Company in 1805.
8.5" x 8.5".
Condition: Wear, concentrated mostly on rim.
