GOLD REPOUSSÉ BUDDHIST VOTIVE PLAQUE

Standing in the center of a flame areole.
Height 5.75". Width 2.75".
Condition: BEnding of thin gold surface, neck line cracked along figure's left side. Figure's left foot bent, minor corrosion of flame aureole on plaque's right side. Purportdedly found inside an encasement ball that was located forty feet from the top of a king's stupa.
