1) 1852 auction broadside "By J.A.D. Joslin Houses and Lots at Auction". 15.75" x 10.75".
2) 1861 Confederate States of America ten dollar note, dated Richmond, Virginia, July 25, 1861. Hand-numbered and signed by C.C. Thayer and another illegible. Tears and losses. Approx. 3.25" x 5.25".
3) German Reichsbanknote 50-mark note, dated Berlin, June 24, 1919. 4" x 6".
4) 1801 handwritten promissory note, signed by Luke Drury[?], witnessed and embossed. Tears and losses. 3" x 7.75".
5-6) Invitation to "The Third Annual Ball of Howard S.F. Engine Co., No. 1", Washington Hall, Charlestown, February 15, 1867, with "Complimentary" entrance ticket. Printed in purple on buff/white paper, the ticket with fancy gold border. Invitation 8" x 5" folded.
7-10) Four small prints with illuminated quotes of Elbert Hubbard, founder of the Roycroft artisan community. Probably bookplates from one of Hubbard's books. Each 8.75" x 6.25".
11) Entrance ticket to the marriage of Napoleon I and Archduchess Marie-Louise of Austria in the grand salon of the Louvre, April 2, 1810, issued by the grand master of ceremonies. Hand-addressed to "Monsieur le premier Secretaire del a Legation des Etats Unis". Matted 11.5" x 12.75".
12) "Old Maid" print. 10.75" x 8".
Condition: Typical fading toning, foxing, chips, small tears and losses, etc., as commensurate with age and material.
