PAIR OF LARGE SCRIMSHAW AND INLAID WHALE'S TEETH

Both engraved with two portraits of different types of American-flagged sailing ships separated by a chain link band and surrounded by flower blossoms on delicate vines. Inlaid mother-of-pearl disks at the center of the flowers and alternating chain links.
Lengths approx. 7.5".
Condition: Bases cut flat. Reverses undecorated. Old inventory sticker (probably from Eldred's) on reverse of one. Naturally occurring gouges and fissures, but no significant wear or damages noted.
