Possibly Turkish or Middle Eastern. Finely detailed portrait of a bearded man wearing a feathered turban, flowing robes and beaded necklaces and bracelets, and holding a dagger to his chest. Some deeply stippled elements. Rich patina.
Length 6.5".
Condition: Age cracks on both obverse and blank reverse, one on the reverse extending nearly the length of the tooth. Old shallow chip at tip. Scattered age lines. Base cut flat. Chip at base on edge.
