2) Portrait study of a woman by Walter Maxwell Macewen (America/France/Germany, 1860-1943). Signed in pencil lower left "W. MacEwen". Pencil on thick cream wove paper, 13.25" x 9.25" (333mm x 233mm). Matted 16" x 20".
3) "Duke of Monmouth" by James Stroudley (United Kingdom, 1906-1985). Initialed "JS" and inscribed "Mixed Media" and "Study for Pub Sign" in pencil verso. Mixed media, 18.5" x 13". Matted 20" x 16".
4) Scene of a resting baby attributed to Ramsay Richard Reinagle (United Kingdom, 1775-1862). Signed and dated in brown ink lower right "RR Reinagle 1837". Pencil with pastel additions on cream wove paper affixed to card stock, 8.75" x 7" (222mm x 180mm). Matted 20" x 16.
5) Male portrait drawing. Signed in pencil "E. Granger". Matted 20" x 16".
6) Roman scene by the school of John Hamilton Mortimer (United Kingdom, 1740-1779). Unsigned. Pen and ink and wash on cream laid paper, 8.75" x 10.75" (202mm x 273mm). Matted 20" x 16".
7-9) Three 17th/18th Century pencil drawings. Includes a School of Carle Vernet work with collector's stamp of an owl, an "n" and a triangle in a circle recto, and inscription "Carle Vernet Bordeaux" and "1758-1836" verso. Also includes a School of Antoine Pesne work inscribed "Antoine Pesne (1683-1757)" in ink on reverse of sheet mount. Each unsigned. Largest 12.75" x 9.75" (326mm x 245mm). Each matted 20" x 16".
10-15) Six 19th Century French School drawings: a pencil and wash portrait study with anatomical studies in pencil verso attributed to Jean Antoine Constantin d'Aix, two colored pencil portrait studies attributed to Charles Chaplin, a red and black chalk drawing of a female nude, a pencil pastoral scene signed and dated "Emma Potevin Juillet 1841", and a charcoal scene of a village signed lower left "Ghiglion-Green". Largest 15.5" x 11". Matted 20" x 16".
16-17) Two French School pen and ink and watercolor illustrations, one depicting a man on his deathbed with his children about and the other depicting a party given by Louis XV. Unsigned. Both 5.5" x 7" (140mm x 178mm). Each matted 20" x 16".
18) View of a cherub wearing bells and a sword and carrying a newspaper by Firmin Bouisset (France, 1859-1925). Portrait of Ingres in the background. Signed in pencil lower left "Firmin Bouisset". Pencil on cream laid paper, 12.75" x 9.25" (324mm x 246mm).
19-22) Four 17th/18th Century German School drawings: an angel with trident and torch, a peasant woman, a young lady, and a man with column and drape. Unsigned. Watercolor, black and white chalks, and pencil, the largest 13" x 10.75" (332mm x 272mm). Each matted 16" x 20".
